It was actually cropped from your background, it does look a lot better on the phone than the screenshot, and I like the above screen too. Thank you. If anyone would like a copy of the theme as above then a pm will get them a copy. A little more work and I'll somehow edit the icons too. edit: the sc...

Backgrounds are 240wx320h, icon sizes 44x50. I had several puppy backgrounds in my frugal install but my mobo died taking out the hdd with it and a no boot situation. Did have a few jpgs of my own puppy (live one  ) but unfortunately they were on the dead hdd, now she's grown up  That was ...

In XP for example, youtube in its current form certainly halts loading if you 'pause' (press the 'play' button) the videos. Just to disagree with the above, using Opera and IE7 the buffer continues to fill, it's actually very handy if youtube is busy and the video is pausing and stuttering pause it...

as you're sure eth0 is the correct connection, 1st do the following INSTRUCTIONS Use Geany to modify the WPA configuration file to include your SSID and Personal Security Key (PSK). Puppy already contains 2 different configuration files; /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf - for WPA encryption /etc/wpa_supplic...

probaly the surest method would be to reboot puppy, maybe iwconfig eth0 down will work, however I'm not sure so the reboot option seems the surest way. if you then post back with the output of ifconfig -a before trying to configure your wireless we'll hopefully see the second eth0 is gone. Is it pos...

Looking at your ifconfig/iwconfig you now appear to have 2 eth0, change your commands for iwconfig to refer to eth1. The example I linked to didn't have a working ethernet card and thus eth0 was correct in that example, however your ethernet card is recognised and has been allocated as eth0, so you ...

multiple pups on usb flash

Haven't searched very hard (yet) but is it possible to boot multiple puppies from a usb flash drive? I want to demo puppy to several different friends without the trouble of carrying several cds.

Or could I just be barking (mad) up the wrong tree ?
