It is quite annoying that the link is the only place I can find that has the pet file. All other sources point to the same temporarily dead location. No other alternative backups. I am wondering why not using some more reliable free storage websites, i.e. sourceforge, skydrive, google code, to host ...

Need wicd network manager
I am running puppy 4.00. The default network manager (network wizzard) doesn't work correctly. Because I have to frequently switch between two wireless networks. One has WEP encryption enabled. One doesn't. The network manager can scan and find both wireless networks. But I have to run manually to e...

Looking for xmms in puppy 4.00
I tried the old version (xmms 1.2.10). But it requires gtk1, which is removed in puppy 4.00. Are there other tools that can play online m3u URL files, such as http://blah.blah.com/music.m3u? The default audio/video player gxine doesn't support this kind of file.
thanks

Zonet zew2500p wireless card not working in Puppy 3.01
In network wizard, wireless card is "rausb0 rt2570". When I try to scan wireless network, the cpu load goes up to 100%. system seems no response to keyboard. I also try the instructions in http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=15057 But cpu load becomes 100% in "ifconfig rausb0...

anyone knows how to enable 1280x1024 resolution @ 60Hz.
Puppy 2.02 is running on HP T5515, 128MB thin client. Everything looks fine except the display. The thin client is connecting to a 19' LCD. But puppy (Xvesa) can't enable 1280x1024 resolution. The refresh rate is set to 70-75Hz. But the LCD only accepts 60Hz refresh rate in 1280x1024 mode. :( thanks
