I do have two different profiles in network wizard. But after I click on "load" and "use this profile", the key in wireless card doesn't get updated. And puppy can not access the wireless network.

I tried the old version (xmms 1.2.10). But it requires gtk1, which is removed in puppy 4.00. Are there other tools that can play online m3u URL files, such as http://blah.blah.com/music.m3u? The default audio/video player gxine doesn't support this kind of file.

it is pain to browse websites without these two addons. my slow cpu runs at 100% when web page has some embedded scripts/popups.

Yeah. The router has 64-bit WEP enabled. But the puppy linux network wizard hangs at DHCP step. I have to run "dhcpcd -h puppylinux -d wlan0" in terminal to obtain an IP. I don't know how to make network wizard working. can anyone share a script to setup WEP and DHCP?

In network wizard, wireless card is "rausb0 rt2570". When I try to scan wireless network, the cpu load goes up to 100%. system seems no response to keyboard. I also try the instructions in http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=15057 But cpu load becomes 100% in "ifconfig rausb0...

I also tried 2.02 seamonkey & opera. None of them work. But 1.0.8r1-mozilla works!!!

Just try xorgconfig at the command line. Same error. Maybe the barebones puppy has some problem with Xorg.

I tried to launch Xorg from comand prompt. After press "TEST_X_NOW" button, I got this:

Puppy 2.02 is running on HP T5515, 128MB thin client. Everything looks fine except the display. The thin client is connecting to a 19' LCD. But puppy (Xvesa) can't enable 1280x1024 resolution. The refresh rate is set to 70-75Hz. But the LCD only accepts 60Hz refresh rate in 1280x1024 mode. :( thanks
