I have Precise Puppy installed on flash usb stick, 1GB of Ram, and typically have Firefox and Thunderbird always running, occasionally other programs. Gnupg - cannot install in Lupu 528-005
I am using Lupu 528-005 frugal install on usb stick. I have Thunderbird 17 and want to use enigmail which requires gnupg. Thank you - that was a simple solution. As you suggested in the link to a previous post: in TC Settings/Preferences/System Integration, check "Do not use kernel cryptographic services".

Using Precise Puppy 5.4.1. I am able to create truecrypt file, but cannot open it. When I try to mount, I get popup window with "No such file or directory. dmsetup".

How do you install LXDE on Puppy Linux? I have tried on both 528-004 Lucid and Precise Puppy Beta7. In both cases I have downloaded and installed all LXDE files, but cannot determine how to make it run.

Puppy package manager will not update
I recently upgraded from 525 to 528. When I open PPM, click "Configure package manager", and click "Update now", nothing happens.
