Re: lang_pack_all-0.9
Try lang_pack_all-0.9.sfs , supports more than 100 languages for all Puppy-5.x/4.x, See the top of this topic. Thank you! It works! I noticed that some Spanish translations were incomplete, missing or had spelling mistakes. I'm checking some existing translations and making new ones, I'll post them...

Enhanced Spanish translation for FFConvert
shinobar-san,
I've checked and corrected the existing Spanish translation for FFConvert taken from the .po file included in lang_pack_all_0.9.sfs. I also made a Portuguese translation:

Re: Link to IU4 is broken!
The link on the first page of this thread took me to Instant Update 002! I did not find a link to IU004 anywhere, only to 528.004.iso. Confirmed, at the moment of writing this post the instant update 004 link in the first page leads to a file named instant unpdate 002 which size is about 4MB. Maybe...

Spanish locale for sfs_load
I haven't seen a Spanish translation for this app. Just in case, I made one
EDIT
Checked and had to correct a couple of mistakes, if you use the former file users will believe they're unloading an SFS when they're actually downloading one from the Internet. Please use this file instead.

Re: Chromium and Chinese Fonts
Do you know of any program that will allow you to use a pen tablet device to enter the Chinese characters into a browser or AbiWord? What happens when you load this sfs. Is it active for just that session, or does it make changes to your 2fs file? Sorry, I have no idea, I type Chinese and Japanese ...

Yet more bad news, I'm in 3HD now and sound is gone  At least this time I have a clue--I was loading an SFS when the system crashed, I had to force a reboot, back to 3HD I have no speaker icon, no Retrovol, no sound. I opened Bacon Recorder and tried to access Retrovol from there--nothing happe...

A new test with no main SFS copied to the flash drive suggests that ext3 save-file has also something to do with loss of sound (by the way, what does it mean that the ext3 save-file is 'journaled'?). Puppy was running fine till I had to restart X because of a frozen application, and then back to X t...

This time around the t12s script worked nicely :D I've even been able to change language so that I can make a new locale for the same file just after I finished the one I've worked on previously. However, I had to check that the locale folders were in place -- as the 'locales' folder was empty, I ha...

A few people had trouble with sound disappearing after Installing IU 002. I *believe* the case of the disappearing sound in Instant Update 002 was because of a problem with USB. playdayz, I have used Lucid 5.28 for a week including IU 002 without losing sound. I discovered that my liveCD+USB instal...
