How about my grandmother is dying and we're counting the hours. Will that satisfy you?

My mistake for asking questions in this forum.

If I need help, I'll go elsewhere.

One can't run Winblows on a Smackinsquash (Mac). Those are the computers at work (environment), and those are irrelavent. As for the problem she was having at home, once again, irrelavent in terms of the question I asked. When I was asking about compatibility, I meant JUST THAT. Can you run Adobe C...

Nathan: Sweet. She does work on the Interior Temple Signs as well as some exterior and other stuffs as well. I'll have to see if I can swipe a couple of .jpgs etc that she's helped design and then PM em to you. I've got GrafPup book-marked, just in case ;) One never knows when one needs to send an ...

I think Illustrator is the biggest thing. I'll check to see what's what with my friend.

Is GIMP compatible with Adobe? Only reason I'm asking is she uses Adobe at work (job supplied product), and if she works on a project at home and they're not compatible... that's X amount of more time spent on the project, possibly knocking it back even further. If GIMP is compatible, then we're co...

Well, she uses everything that comes with the CS product (I don't know what they all are, I can't afford it anyway  ) And in her mind, to set all this up wouldn't be worth the troubles (I'd have to do it, and I don't mind at all), and her hubby would probably just go out and buy a new HD and d...

Is Puppy compatible with Adobe Creative Suite? (AdobeCS)

Too many results came up when I searched for this, so I thought I'd ask the awesome folks here: Is Puppy compatible with Adobe Creative Suite? (AdobeCS) I have a friend of mine who's having issues with her computer, and I got talking to her about switching over to Pup Pup and some of the benefits o...

Like I posted elsewhere, I don't think humanity is all that great. All you have to do is look at other mammals and then take a good long look at humans. I belive that what was written in "The Matrix" is absolutely correct: "I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time ...

The point is: She DOESN'T want to stay with Windows. But I wasn't doing a very good job in explaining that the transition from Windows to Puppy won't be as difficult as she might think. Please READ the ENTIRE post before you comment. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that my friend was thinking about swit...

How Would You Describe Puppy?

Okay, so I have one of those questions where you would probably go: DUH, but I have to ask anyway  If you were to describe Puppy Linux to someone who's got NO CLUE what you're talking about, how would you describe it to them? Would you ask if they were familiar with Winblows and say it's kind...

When it comes to instructions, let's face it: They ARE NOT written for the Village Idiot. This is the set of instructions I wrote up for mIRC for those to chat on another board (if they preferred to use mIRC instead of using the link off the board): For those that use the mIRC program (rather than ...

When I lived in England, one minute it was sunny. 15 minutes later, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, 15 minutes after that, it was raining, 15 minutes after that... back to sunshine.

WinBlows 2000. Eventually, I want to be running straight Pup, sorry if I wasn't that clear. I just don't have the time right now to mess with having a hard drive dedicated to Linux like I want (the ENTIRE drive), nor do I have the $$ for the upgrades. I have to do a TON of back up / Ghosting in ord...
