Hello Mike Walsh, Your QtWeb is pretty snappy on anything I've tried running it on. Thank you. A possible work around on the bookmark issue is this website, http://www.linkagogo.com/go/Convert which will convert html files to xbel format. The only issue I had was that it inverted the order of the bo...

Thank you for this. Much nicer than being stuck at Flash ver 11.

I suppose this should work ok with most browsers. I had success with Opera 12, Slimboat, Slimjet, Qupzilla, and QtWeb.

Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for this puppy. I'm not using it exactly as you intended, but it works very well for me. My concern was less about on line security, and more about the ability to remove the USB drive once everything was running. It works beautifully on this oldish Dell Latitude...

Hi Blackfish.
If you boot from the cd, then click the "Install" icon, you should get a choice to run the puppy universal installer. You can chose the installation destination and it will make a usb drive bootable, or remove a previous hard drive installation when doing the new installation.

Wow. I got a "new" 64bit laptop just in time for this.Dell e6400. Manual frugal install to a multi boot USB drive. Runs very nicely, except for suspend on closing screen doesn't work. I set up a JWM hot key to call the suspend script, and that does the job. Thank you for this!

pemasu is right, at least in my experience -- which key doesn't matter. No luck at all with button pressing. Once it suspended, it was gone. But what did work is swapping out the kernel with 3.2.29 from Upup Precise. I don't know if I'm missing out on anything by using the older kernel. So far, eve...

This runs nicely on my old Dell D810, but it won't recover from suspending properly. Nothing but a black screen when I open the laptop lid. To be fair, I have the same problem on every distro with a kernel later than 3.6.2. Something changed somewhere, and my laptop just doesn't deal with it. Raring...

I got online! Sorry, I just love it when stuff works. I tried restarting the wpa_supplicant using the button in the debug tab of pwireless, but it didn't seem to do anything. Then I tried the Refresh and Roam buttons on the Networks tab. It showed my network, but wouldn't connect until I repeated th...

This is a beautiful Distro! However I am also having a problem with wireless internet connection. I have an old Dell D810 with Intel Pro Wireless 2200/2900, and pwireless doesn't see it at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
thought you might like to know, your 2PDE is running nicely on BK's Precise Puppy 5.3.97-rc2. Still playing with it to get a feel for everything, but it looks nice and is pretty fast.

Re: How do I save this to a USB stick?

How do I save this to a USB stick so I may share it at church? http://www.godtube.com/watch/?v=KYPK7WNX Using Firefox 7.0.1 with the "Video DownloadHelper" add-on, I was able to save this video to hard drive. Been using this add-on for a while now, as it greatly simplifies the process of ...
