Re: Can't save Fatdog Savefile anywhere

Which Fatdog version? Free space on paritions vs. savefile size? Filesystems? Could you provide a detailed, step-by-step procedure that leads to that error? The relevant part of the code ( /usr/sbin/savefile.sh ) seems to be: # create the savefile [ "$savepath" ] && mkdir -p $tmpmo...

@SFR and @wiak I changed automaton.c to stop using the 'inner-border' property, and 01micko merged it, so if you could try again and see if it is fixed or not please. I didn’t think the 'inner-border' property was removed until the version of vte used for gtk+3, so I am puzzled that it would be cau...

Yes, turns out that the actual culprit is in Mick's fork (which, I assume, was used a base for Gtkwialog?), in this PR: https://github.com/01micko/gtkdialog/pull/82 Reverting this particular change fixes VTE terminal in GTK2 build: - #if 0 //#if VTE_CHECK_VERSION(0,26,0) + #if VTE_CHECK_VERSION(0,26...

As a test I copied one folder from the FAT drive to my W7 partition using FatDog and had the same problem. See pic. Finally, copying from the FAT32 drive to the W7 drive using W7 works perfectly. FatDog seems to be the culprit. Exactly, that's the source of the problem. You can't copy from FAT to N...

Yes, "jak głupio". I actually speak Polish OK, and do so at least one a week, and read the Polish news daily, so that was a totally idiotic omission. Thanks. I will post an update now - page one, near the bottom. When doing those tables I was focusing on "kreskowane", and forgot...

I copied the folder full of pictures from the "TO" drive to the Windows 7 drive while still booted up in FatDog. This is probably related to how we use ntfs-3g in Fatdog: When mounting NTFS (either for savefile usage or by clicking on the drive icon), Fatdog by default uses the full NTFS ...

What puzzles me are the new options. What's the difference between "Newer" and "Ignore Older"? Isn't this the same thing? I hardly ever used any of them, but the tooltips say: - Newer = "Always over-write if source is newer than destination." - Ignore Older = "Sil...
