@EBored

Since you can adjust almost any parameter before the build one can make the distro one intends to create, as secure or insecure as desired.

Since it's inherently a multi-user system you could make it blow Puli away like dust if security is so paramount.

Hello MochiMoppel, Wow! great added function. This tool again is improving in usability. A real favorite of mine these days and I find works on every Linux distro I have running. I personally can't read Japanese or any of the major or minor Asian languages but I can appreciate the ability to do so (...

The Captcha during the registration process is now disabled. I had turned it on because the forum was flooded with Spam bots which register but don't activate because the email addresses being used to register are bogus. The Captcha function is built in and easy to enabel/disable. I prefer it off if...

Hello Makoto

I found out that the user ellen.hart that you have activated the account for on the forum, can not login. She has never received any email to get a valid password for the account. Apparently she does not have a password set to be able to login.

Any tips I can pass along?

Asoulutely Ridiculus A Major Forum with NO ADMINISTRATORS?

I can not express my utter disappointment with the way this forum is operating. Again I am finding people on Facebook who despite trying for weeks can NOT REGISTER. And these potential registered users can NOT FIND CONTACT INFORMATION to address the problems. All fine and good running completely aut...

DOSBox will set up a working MS-DOS environment to run any of your favorite DOS based games. https://www.dosbox.com/ DOSBox runs very well in most Puppy Linux variants. So I created a PET for it but it is also available in the Puppy Package Manager. If your are into retro MS-DOS games this is a must...

Of course this is a path ALL the major world power's are researching. Robot soldiers.... Just like pilot-less fighter aircraft.

I know some guys who work on this kind of stuff....actually extremely concerning if you only knew........

I will have to look into it. Can you post the cmake or gcc log file? There are package builds that only have a "make" and no "make install". In that case there should be binaries or libraries created. Compiling Darknet-YOLO for example works this way with only "make". W...

You guessed it. I did use EasyOS for the experiments. Although I never created a Puppy Linux Docker image, the container concept in EasyOS is also really effective.

I have considered it, did experimentation with getting a Docker Puppy to take a walk.

It looks feasible all though ran into some memory allotment snafu and suspended the effort at the time to work on learning forum software better and building desktops on different types of WeeDog's
