when i go to xwin normal window pop up and then the mpd is always hanged...
it works perfectly in devices but when i try to go to xwin and try to change anything it is just hanged...
tried multiple usb no change...
any idea why...

MPD getting Hanged a lot any idea?
So this was working fine and suddenly nothing changed and last 2-3 days it has been hanging a lot i changed my server and needed to reconfigure so had o make some changes and after that i am unable to save the changes , it keeps on hanging i reformatted the USB drive and put it back but still hangin...

anyone figure out way to control the volume
still love this MPD but how do we control the volume ....my volume comes full 100% out of this MPD ->DAC->Active crossover->Amp
also i tried full blwon puppy linux and a player where in software i controil the voume but it is not sounding right at all...
anmy ideas...

I would say yes on the output of the dac, you will be able to separate through the DCX. As the DAC will be an analogue out make sure you have the gain or output level to suit the DCX as the lightspeed etc are passive devices. Also the LDR's need to be matched, you can buy matched sets off Uriah at ...

V, It is very simple, and dirt cheap. In its simplest form, it is a walwort power supply, a little circuit board with 4 resistors and 4 LDR + a 10k log pot. There are kits sold on DIYAUDIO. I have this amazing Puppy connected to pC-> DAC -> amplifier.... there is no one place i can control the volume as hardware and if i send it bit perfect even the software mpd client cant even control i tried even doing setting change in sound and made it to hardware software independent but is there...
