Hi!

Any help is appreciated. I've tried all the different SCSI type isos and they are lacking the actual SCSI interface from Perc 4/Di I need.

Still checking on things to try out since this is Fusion mpt.

Thanks,
Kent C.

I know this is an older thread but deserves some help. You can always run the following command to check what is root: df -h This will show you what root is and where it's located at. As for the wifi issue, I've been having this as well so I've beenusing eth0 instead. I would like help as well with ...

Like I said, when I had that issue, I had to definitely add more AC power, then magically everything started to load. I had this issue originally with this same machine, and I had to run memtest86+ to verify the RAM stick I had was jamming up the boot kernel [Windows 8]. So there are two scenarios a...

Re: Is your virtual drive IDE or SCSI?

VMware Player, at least, will try to make a SCSI virtual drive for your VM, but it does not work for Puppy. You should remove that drive and create a new one that is set up as IDE. I just want to verify the same for VMWare Player 4.x. The SCSI option doesn't appear in Puppy 4.3.1 but IDE does. Kent...

Puppy Linux 4.3.1 is pretty awesome for a webserver as well. Glad I saw this post, definitely worth saving and putting up. I'd like to just install all the software and run myself. I will test this OS out though.

In the end, I had to add more power to my machine to get the Linux OS's to load, but funny as this was, Windows would load fine on the less power for me on the custom machine. That's ...
