I tried the command from "Shutdown > Exit to prompt" & stuck at these msgs one after one:

Could not start kstartupconfig. Check your installation.
...........
Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.

What to do now?

It doesn't find the "trinity" command.
I see a trinity folder in

# ls /opt/trinity/
bin etc include lib share

It's full of executable files but not trinity.

I find that, download package is possible if there's a "Examine dependencies" option , else only install.
I've checked /tmp but no .pet file.

Anywhere I can find all Puppy official packages for manual download & install?

I've tried with 'opendns' ip addresses as 'nameservers' in /etc/resolv.conf ; still only ping,tracerout etc. but no browsing.
Also after reboot ; the modem resets it's own 'nameserver' & delete any added nameservers.

Haven't checked but I can browse it by SeaMonkey, so may be ping is possible too (I'm posting from another OS). Also saw tracerout work for 'yahoo'.
