Hi there rjbrewer, This is great stuff which I've used successfully in the past. But it doesn't apply in this situation as we are only getting to about image 22 installing the OS to the HD Because of the error which seems to have come out of setting up GRUB4DOS on the Inspiron we removed the Inspiro...

We were able to partition the drives with approx 37Gbit main partition and 1G swap partition and loaded Lupu 5.2 onto the HD. My buddy then tried to set up -...

Hi there rcrsn51, If I could divert your attention up a side alley for a second. Interested in what you said about scanning not working on some cannon printers as there were issues with Xsane. total war series of games
Hi,
I'm making this post on behalf of a friend - I don't know what the total war series of games is all about.
Does anybody know if Puppy supports this game or is it exclusive to Windoze?

downloaded a copy of HPLIP-slacko-5.3.3.pet, Have you read Page 1 of this thread? A much smaller and simpler driver to try would be the hplip_print-3.12.10a.pet. Thanks rcrsn51, I'll have a look at that but what you say doesn't address the question of why the combination of what I have isn't workin...
