Acer Aspire R3-131T manual/frugal install.

Here is a troubleshooting link for a manual/frugal install to this Acer's primary drive. Fatdog64 works really well aside from other distros having trouble being installed onto the internal (eMMC) device. Advance user's will want to use the 'coldplug' option for this device in Fatdog's 'init'/'kerne...

I have no problem with memory(24gig on harddrive + 4gig of system memory-dedicated to Fatdog) and I even created a swap file. I tried to unsquash the file on a different 64bit system and the same message. 'Unable to mount cannot find branch'. Other misc squash files have worked fine. I even download...

Failed to mount or unmount fd64-devx_700.sfs

When trying to mount FD64-devx_700.sfs in FatDog 64 700 frugal install a message prompts me stating: 'Failed to mount cannot find branch directory'. I thought the file might be corrupted and did a hash check but the hash checked out fine. I also mounted other '.sfs' files fine. Is there something ch...

Just wanted to say thanks for releasing this... Works great on a: A68N-5000 mini-ITX board. Starts in normal mode(NON-UEFI) like turning on a light switch( after frugal install!) Built in drivers detected the built in APU Radeon HD 8330 and set up the correct Radeon driver right outta the box!. VLC ...

Mention of dependencies and the DevX kit was a good point to add as well.

Thanx for the post. :D

Re: Barry Kauler stepping down.

And to turn your backs on something after USING it for years instead of truly embracing it(or a least allowing others to continue to learn and have other choices). Is ridiculous! NOT evolution!. Developers are working for free, so continue to move to projects that hold personal interest for them. B...

Barry Kauler stepping down.

Puppy has never really been a cohesive community - because it didn't have to be cohesive. Barry was always there to override any lack of cohesiveness on the part of the community. The situation that Puppy finds itself in now cannot surely be a surprise to anyone though. Any project where the leader...
