Thanks Martin, but you're suggesting vmware. Unfortunately, i am using virtualbox. I;ve tried all other things but with no success. The only thing that works is ftpd. Mattis and all, I am using puppy precise. Since it is frugal install, i believe i need save file which is limited to 2GB. I can't increase more than that. How to connect Puppy guest with Windows host using ftpd?
Puppy Precise installed in virtualbox with windows 7 64 bit host. (frugal) I manage to copy back & forth with windows host by using "start ftpd" & Turn ON VirtualBox Only network. However, the problem is many of my data is stored in /mnt/home. If i copy those files into my download...

I am remastering my puppy according to steps shown in

Unfortunately, it fails at step 5 when copying files from /root ----> /tmp/root.

Virtualbox mouse location always off
Anybody uses puppy linux (precise) inside virtualbox? with win 7 host 64 bit. It looks like so many problems. 1. mouse always off so, i have to press ctrl + I several times, to get it the same location as the cursor. (this doesnt happen when I use ubuntu) 2. i can't access usb drive from virtualbox....
