Yes PeasyPrint works with puppy V 4.3.1 and CUPS 1.3.11 and it does the sizing for you.

Thanks again

How did you print it? From the PDF viewer program? I had a look at PeasyPrint in Puppy431. With one small modification, I got it to accurately print a large JPEG. So no resizing or conversion to PDF was necessary. I'm running ver 1.3.11 for CUPS In that case, it should work OOTB. Be patient, large ...

Now I understand. A simple tool for shrinking your JPEG is PeasyScale. It works in Puppy 431. Since your ultimate goal is to print out this image, the best tool would be PeasyPrint. Unfortunately, it won't work with the old version of CUPS in 431. rcrsn51 I downloaded PeasyScale and used the defaul...

If I new how to make the jpg file smaller I think it would work. You can do this in mtPaint. Here is another conversion method. Launch your web browser and use File > Open File to import the JPEG. Then run Print and select one of the "print to PDF" choices. Also the font is about 3 - 4 ti...

Thanks rcrsn51 I downloaded your converter and it did convert the jpg to a pdf, however the .jpg file is rather large 1.8 M and the converted file only contains the middle third of the file. Also the font is about 3 - 4 times larger than it should be. If I new how to make the jpg file smaller I thin...

Hi
A lot of the computers have a function key with a hand with a finger on it. If you hold down the Fn key and then push the function key with the hand on it, it will disable the touch pad.

However i can not seem to find how we can look at all Wifi available. It sounds like you configured your wifi with the default "Simple Network Wizard". If you run the full "Network Wizard" instead, you will have the option to do a scan, as illustrated. With 4.3.1 I could use ( M...

What is needed to get 4.3.1 to work with WPA2-PSK (solved)

I am using 4.3.1 on a Aspire D255 netbook (with a memory stick) and when I try to connect to WPA2-PSK it never connects. Is there a patch to make puppy work with WPA2-PSK?

4.3.1 seems to work with WEP ok.

Thanks.

I download ver. 2.1.4 today and run it with no success.

What happens is it tries to download the youtube video but then it stops and then goes away.

hi
About a week or so ago I used the new you2pup and it worked ok. I tried today to download a file and it looks like you2pup is broke again.

I use puppy 4.3.1 and the you2pup ver. for general puppies.

Has anyone tried to use the new you2pup and had it work ok in the last few days?

Thanks for all the suggestions however the thumbdrive
seem to have other issues and I found it would be just as easy to re-install.

I deleted the .lock and the .parentlock but that did not help.
I had added lots of changes so now I will have to reload all my changes and updates.

Thanks again

However, if you have a sticker on it with the FCC ID. Then you can look that up to find out who made it and see if the OEM has any drivers. Otherwise, you might have to crack it open and look at any names on chips inside. I'm pretty sure it's probably an OEM deal and the same camera is sold by lots...
