It certainly needs more attention. BTW, great effort @smokey01. A lot of good reads, considering lenghty hiatus in using...

First fruits of CISA 2015, I'd say.
Shame FFTF guys (and others) didn't make it on their quest to prevent
this evil bill becoming a law.
But, it's not over - YET!

Nouveau is back!
Hi, folks. After a month of use of nvidia proprietary drivers for Slacko 5.7 provided by CatDude (thanks again, mate!), nouveau rears it's head again! Does this make any sense? :? Is it something related to kernel source .sfs being loaded or something else? Terminal output of 'glxinfo' looks fine, b...

Thanks for the tip, darkcity. Yes, symlink in ~/.mozilla/plugins/ was broken. One might want to check Java Control Panel-Temporary Internet Files . For some reason, Java wants to use ALL of your disk space for storing temp files by default. I gave it 100MB, should be enough. :D Also, unchecked TLS.1...

Hi, corvus.
Here, read this post carefully and follow mavrothal's instructions.

Keep an eye on kernel versions - modern (with PAE ability) and retro
(non PAE).
You can post your question there eventually.
Cheers!
