I have a Compaq laptop with a BCM43xx built-in wifi card which works out of the box in Puppy 213. Scans for wireless perfectly, never fails me. I have used 214 and 215CERC1 without success. Yes I have followed all the suggestions about unloading the faulty driver and using my own driver with ndiswra...

How do I duplicate a pendrive install of puppy?
I love my pup so much that I am fearful that I will kill him with kindness. (He actually has perished a number of times this month!)
To this end I would like to totally replicate my current version and all of the packages I have installed, onto another pendrive.
Any suggestions?

Opera my default browser but what to do about Flash? FIXED
Firefox 2.0.0.2 crashes regularly, which is a shame, with Puppy 213, on my system. I installed Opera and really like it, but miss not having a flash plugin. Is there a workaround?

Re: Wifi Woes
Just tried Puppy 2.14 on a Toshiba L35-S2161 with an Atheros AR500G card. Puppy sees Atheros card and loads ath_pci driver. Puppy doesn't see the wireless router. Have no problems connecting to the same router with windows. Also, not related to wifi: when I go to shut down or reboot, puppy hangs. I...

Free memory indicator suddenly very low
Last time I used puppy (pendrive install) I had 200+ meg of free memory. Now it is 18.2
I installed firefox, but that is it. What can I do to recover from this low figure (other than starting from scratch)

Tight VNC Server install problems
I am a puppy lover and a VNC addict, but for the life of me cannot get the pups to install on my system. Error: No run action specified for files of this type (text/x-readme) - you can set a run action by choosing `Set Run Action' from the File menu, or you can just drag the file to an application. ...

bcm43xx firmware
As I am having trouble with 214 using the now included bcm software, am I best to wait until 215? Ndiswrapper and by driver worked flawlessly in 213. Oops. bcm43xx firmware is missing from Puppy 2.14. I have just packaged this firmware along with some other firmware, and these should be available on...

Puppy 214 and wireless now broken
Puppy 213 and wireless worked for me really well (using ndiswrappwer) v214 now has a driver for my wireless card, which it it detected - but does not work :) NDISWRAPPER does not seem to work at all, and neither will the script AUTOSCAN my wireless network settings. Anyone else having similar proble...

Finally got it all working - WOOF!
After many weeks of plugging away, I finally have a DVD that does what I want. Thanks to the help of many in this forum, I managed to get both my soundcard and, best of all, my wireless card to work (thanks to NDISWRAPPER) I am a true Puppy believer and love that I can store my documents, my web des...

Remastering Problems
I am really a newbie with Puppy, but love it nevertheless! I am using v213 and want to remaster my existing cd. (It is getting a bit tight on the CD) Whatever remastering option that I choose simply brings me up an XDIALOG starting with something like this: Xdialog v2.3.1 by Thierry Godefroy <xdialo...
