I'm not 100% certain for MUT, and I'm not on Puppy right now, but this is how you do it for GXINE: Look inside /usr/local/bin for GXINE. Simply drag it to the desktop to create a shotcut. You can than right-click on it and edit the name, if you chooose, as well as the Icon, Hope this is of some help...

Is it possible that you answered the mouse configuration question improperly? Just a thought, might be worth asking yourself. If you rename pup001 to pup001old, or something, than puppy will create a new pup001 file on your computer, and you can go through the short configuration process again. Hope...

Azureus is surprisingly responsive on Puppy - more so than on other Linux's I've tried. However, it's still a pig. Hey, if java is usefull, than I'm not knocking it. It's just that I've seen examples of programs written entirely in C (like XBT) that have the same functionality yet weigh in at 1 tent...

Though I haven't tried this one yet, I have to say good work. The more p2p, the better. I have a kind of general question about Java though. I've noticed that , at least on my computer, Java apps always run rather slowly, and are not very responsive. I have 128MB of ram, and it's kind of annoying! W...

Will this be good or bad for linux. I'm curious what BarryK 's take on this is. Do I think that a commercial company should be able to make a fortune on the back of Linus's work, well, No, not without some sort of compensation. However, I don't generally believe that trademarking words is a good id...

Thank you Guesttoo. It's bizarre though, because after experimenting for a while with your suggestion, this code seems to be the closest I can get to aterm being fullcsreen (my screen res. is 1024x768)... aterm -geometry 143x51 ...which seems strange, as that doesn't seem to be the amount of pixels....

OK,really off-topic here. Just wanted to say that my internet connection is gonna be shut off some time tomorrow, so, alas, I will no longer be able to frequent the Puppy Linux Forums as often as I'd like too. Sadly, the likelihood of getting set up again anytime soon with a working computer & i...
