I'm writing from my Dad's account. I've tried lots of Puppies and I love them :)!

Using a 7 year old Dell Optiplex GX260 (Celeron 1.7GHz, 512MB RAM) that I bought from my pocket money.

I'm 13 :D (the youngest in this topic?)

Memtest in Puppy 2.13

Has anyone used Menu -> Control Panel -> Memtest in Puppy 2.13 with succes?
I posted this question here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=12944 (PC hangs while doing memtest), but haven't got any reply.
Can this be considered a consistent bug in Puppy 2.13?

Hi,

I have tried Memtest in Puppy 2.13 on three machines with 512 MB RAM. All three hang in the same way as described by sling-shot. :(
Other memory test programs report no errors.

Has anyone used Menu -> Control Panel -> Memtest in Puppy 2.13 with succes?

Thanks.

Puppy can't access NTFS filenames with accented characters

I'm trying to convert my 11 year old son (and myself) from Windows to Puppy. One thing I like about Puppy is that it can readily access my files stored by XP on an NTFS partition. My son's files are in a folder that contains accented characters (eg: "ó" or "ő"). So all his music ...
