Something is wrong. I apply these additional themes like Windows 95 and 98, but I still have the XPish buttons in the right corner of the window. I can't find a way to get the proper buttons to complete the look. Using JWM in puppy 6.0.2. I downloaded the zip file and unzipped all. I then put the fi...

I think the problem with that is you will get all kinds of crap in your save folder. Temp files and so forth.

I shut down, reboot, and back up from the command line-(creating a tar.gz file).

Got 6.0.2 running on a little Dell mini. The screen is about 8 inches wide and 6 inches tall. Has like 700 megs of RAM. http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y502/PhilDotPastel/capture10396_zps64f1fh71.png It's a pretty nice little machine when it's running puppy. It struggles mightily with xp. Are we talking about rox window or rxvt terminal window. I think there is a config program in settings menu for rxvt. I'm not familiar with RXVT. Is that something that is in puppy by default? I definitely don't remember downloading that. I downloaded some window managers the past few days, trying ...

I had transparent windows. Not sure how to get 'em back.

I'm using Puppy Tahr 6.0.2. Last week, I was able to specify the level of window transparency via 3 sliders (normal, moving, resizing). I'm on a fresh tahrsave folder now and I'm unsure how to get back to that. I'm pretty sure I had another window manager that I must have downloaded, but I can't rem...

Yeah, I've done that previously. Pale Moon has the check mark next to it to run apps as spot. But I can go right to OneDrive (from Hotmail) and download a document to Root. I had actually stopped using the run-as-spot script. I only started trying to use it again when I started to suspect that spot ...

Nice DJ Puppio! Perhaps have a think about creating multiple separate desktops with different wallpapers and icons on each desktop and combine them together in a single Puppy. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4MbXu8cvE_Wdmx6NjZwR0NRYUU/view?usp=sharing See http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.ph...
