Tried PeasyMP3 in the original Quirky 1.4.2 Baby iso and it has the same issue with not playing internet radio streams. Oh well, it still makes a good lightweight mp3 player. Very low on resources, too. CPU usage for lame and aplay < 2% and memory usage 0%. Think I'll keep it.

Okay. I understand the terminal/path procedure. But, even when using peasymp3carousel to specify the folder where the mp3 and m3u files are located, peasymp3 will only play the mp3s and not the m3u. That's interesting - in the attached image, the upper terminal was opened from the desktop and failed. The lower terminal was opened where the .m3u file was located and worked. Have already done as you suggested. Mp3 files play fine but .m3u or .pls will not, even though they are shown in the playlist. How did you make your rustradio.m3u file? Mine is simply like this:

Shouldn't need anything else. Works in Cmus, Mocp and Mplayer.

OK. I have mplayer and it does play internet radio streams. Obviously, Peasy recognizes the .mp3 file and then uses aplay. But for some reason it's not recognizing the .m3u file and triggering mplayer. How does PeasyMP3 call mplayer for this?
