I just installed gtk3-3.18.7-x86_64-1.txz from Fatdog64 710 repository. Now Firefox 51.0.1 (64-bit) and can import/export bookmark without crashing.

A note of caution, with Fatdog64 7.10, the installed package need some dependencies, but I did install those

Hi Oscar,

Find a copy of "glibc-2.22.90-36.fc24.i686.pet". Resolved all missing libraries and still no joy. Guess I better upgrade.

Thanks

Firefox 51.0.0

Hi Puppyians, After upgrading from 50.1.0 to 51.0, the application crash whenever I try to import the "bookmarks.html". Right, I said. Let's try a new pristine full install and apply "tahr64fix2.zip". Again the same thing happens. The same cannot be said of the Windoze version. A...

Tor Browser

Hi Puppyians, I am running Lucid Puppy 5.2.8.7 20150702. Firefox 45.7.0 ESR runs fine. Tor 5.5.5 runs fine as long as I don't use the option to bypass my ISP is monitoring. Hello @MichaelT On your question: BarryK, the current owner-developer of FirstRUN, seen at initial boot of your distro, made a mistake that he has since corrected, IIRC. In your distro, you may be using that flawed FirstRUN which starts it no matter what you select. If you are not using that flawed...

Puppy's Firewall checkbox is checked by default

I just noticed that the check box next to the above subject description is checked by default.

1. What is the relevance?
2. Is there a security risk?

Thanks

Tor browser 6.0

I am using Lucid 5.2.8.7 dated 20150702.

Just updated Tor from 5.5.5 to 6.0 and all is lost. It did not start. I suspect this is because I also have Firefox 45.1.1 ESR installed. Any idea or work around.
