It may though and I will probably give it a try...it is still a hoop though and still a rather high one...I still think it would be a great ...

Better support for Toshiba laptops

This is definitely a newbie suggestion but sooo many people have such an issue with it...why can't there be better support for Toshiba laptops? A person has to jump through so many hoops to get Puppy working on a Toshiba. It would be nice if it was a bit simpler...

Sorry about that, it's an nvidia vanta pci 16meg. I'm using xvesa so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I tried running the 3DCC and it lets me install everything but the nvidia drivers. When I select it and hit go nothing happens...

2.15 hd install: jumpy scrolling, can't watch online video

I might be wrong but it seems like things should operate a little faster than they do. The computer is used pretty much totally for internet browsing, but while you're trying to scro...

I hope I'm not offending anyone by asking about better support for toshiba laptops with trident display adapters. Is that just a really off the wall request? If it is someone can just tell me and I'll shut up I promise.

Ok, yeah, I just finished trying to run the xorgconfig yet another time but still with no luck. The only thing that I did different this time was to use option #7 for the hsync as option 6 had a maximum of 48.5 (31.5 - 48.5) khz and as you posted it should be 48.61. Option #7 has 31.5 - 57 for the f...

Would it be too much to ask to get better support for toshiba laptops in 2.15? I've pretty much given up on trying to install it on my Toshiba with its trident display adapter.
