Alright, it works fine now!

I have no idea what could have replaced it. I did install some updates using the Fatdog System Updater...

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Hello,

I've been using the latest Fatdog64 release these days, all working fine except one thing : Evince.

This is what it reports when I try to open PDFs :

Code: Select all

evince: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib64/libgailutil.so.18: file too short
Thanks for your help.

Hello all, This is just a quick report to say that everything works as expected basically on a frugal install to a usb drive. I noticed some sound distortions with the first iso, but now this seems to be resolved for me, it might have been the kernel? I also updated palemoon to the latest, no proble...

Wmexit is a good one to know about... There are many great little utilities hidden in that Fatdog. :)

On Fatdog64 721, you should be able to use the "ctrl+alt+backspace" shortcut, then startx to get back in.

Hello.

I'd like to point out that the nluug.nl mirror link on the web page doesn't work for me, here is the right one I believe :

Okay, so I just reinstalled a fresh Fatdog64 and you were right, libdb was needed. I guess I had installed something else before which pulled it in. However I did not have your freezing problem with neither packages. Don't you have any hints from the terminal?

Hello. So I've been looking for explanations on how to compile software on linux for a while now, and thanks to puppy and fatdog64 I finally have found a good one ! It did clear many things for me on this seemingly esoteric process. With that said here are two little packages compiled on fatdog64-72...
