Way back when I was a Puppy v1 user I had forked SLAX KDE packages to work within puppy. So this time I have used the s...

Back to using puppy

Dear All, Many accolades for puppy makers Barry and his contemporaries, who has been continuing to develop and support Puppy linux. I was a way back user when Puppy was v1. I was away from the scene as I was busy completing my medical education. I am now a trained faculty in psychiatry. Puppy has ch...

Bye Bye Puppy Linux

:( :( Hi, all puppy members. I am back, just for this message. I am a doctor by profession and going to start my residency in Anasthesiology and would not be able to develop for puppy for the next three years. Hope to see puppy developed into a full fledged OS by then and hopefully it would remain f...

Brushed1.tar contains a flat brushed theme for gtk1 from the same author. I could not figure out where in the gtkrc he gets the flat menus.

The background in present theme is set by rox filer. Right click on any icon and select the option Background -> Click on Show -> this will open /usr/share/backgrounds -> drad and drop your wallpaper on the dialog.

Oops, my dotpup also overwrites the immodules and loaders. I just had a peek in the usr_cram.fs file and found that it already has these. I will post glupdate1.1.pup to revert back to the original.

MU, I have updated instructions about installation in a non-pristine pupfile. The pixmap engine is notorious, it has been known for memory leaks (system usage becomes 100% for no reason) I have a such a problem when using firefox. I think i need to recompile the pixmap engine in puppy. At present it...

prettypup dotpups for puppy

I was going to make a prettypup puppy iso but it got too big (27mb extracted) so I made a once only install dotpup. Prettypup aims to create pleasing interface without resource hogging.
