Yes, that worked for me, too. Thanks a lot!fluxit wrote:Keyboard function key F1 or F2 should return you to the DVD's menu in gxine.
It works here. See File, Keybindings.

How to get to a DVD main menu in gxine under 2.17.1?
Hi,
I'm using Puppy 2.17.1 as one of my distros, and I'm happy with it. Now I tried to watch a DVD with gxine in it. The main movie plays ok, but I couldn't figure out how to access the main menu of the DVD. Is there some way to do that?

Puppy and DSL on one CD?
Is there a way how I could put the newest Puppy and DSL 3.3 (not 3.4, that has apparently done away with their one main advantage, the lower RAM requirements) on one CD, preferably with the freedom to choose the various boot options of both distros? I've seen some interesting stuff in this thread: h...

Setting up a CD to boot from USB stick?
Is there some way to have the functions of the bootfloppy for USB on a CD? So that I can insert a CD that boots from a USB stick? Why do I ask for something as strange as that? Simple. I have a computer that is at the same time so new that it doesn't have a floppy drive anymore and so old that the B...

How safe is a frugal install?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I think I haven't seen it. And sorry if it should insult or annoy people. Now, a frugal install is, if I understand it right, a way to have Puppy boot from the hard drive as if it was booting from CD. Now, when I boot from CD, I've noticed that I can access, ...

Sorry, aside from some Java applets and the like, there is probably no software at all that runs on several different operating systems. There is just a lot of software, like OpenOffice, of wich there are different versions for different OSes. (I think the specific orders that a software has to give...
