finally finished a quick demo of my newest widget for navig8or, the drop target widget. I created a simple mp3 player with it, which uses madplay to play the track you dropped on the target. :3 if anyone wants to give it a shot. the link below is the player itself. Needs the newest version of Navig8...

It's still Beta 5, as I haven't been working on K-9 for over a year now. I need to finish my work on the last 3 sub-projects (Desktop Environment, IntroWizard chain, full multi-user support and management) before I can release K-9 Linux 1.0.

Thank you, Eyes-Only. Well the DE is not finished yet. I still need to add a proper conky UI before I can wrap up the package and consider this sub-project for K-9 done. ;) EDIT: Added conky bluelua, and edited it a bit (thank you for the advise pemasu!): http://img864.imageshack.us/img864/6194/scre...

Just created a compatible drive icon management program for iDesk. As soon as I cleaned up everything I'll upload a dotpet here. :D EDIT: Here we go. The icons will be displayed on the bottom left of the screen. Left-clicking will either mount the device and start ROX, OR just starts ROX if the devi...

veRTix

Heyho people, time for me to show that I'm still alive and working on my linux projects (not only K-9 Linux, but also on a few related POC-Distros projects). What I have here is one of the key components of Project veRTix: a Puppy-based distribution for games. Only the stuff you need for gaming, not...

is this still being worked on? Yep, don't worry. Navig8or is not dead. ^^ However I had lots and lots of work to do in the past few months, and I have a lot of linux projects running, so I had no time to add the last feature, the Drag&Drop field which gets the absolute path to a file being drop...

Not yet, but I'm working on it. Prob is I still gotta finish my work on two Desktop Environments atm, and I'm writing a simulator for a browser game as well. ;-)
Turned out that drag&drop fields are far more complicated than I expected, but I'm certain that I'll crack that nut as well.

Ok, problem with the timeout's solved. It's very simple. - When the icons pop up, right-click on one of them to open the apwal-editor - Under "Apwal Preferences", you can set the timeout to a maximum of 10 seconds. For getting even longer timeouts, open /root/.apwalrc.xml and set the timeo...
