You can convert it to .pet and install.
I don't know if the .sfs file works as I am looking for a .pet to work with my full install. Unfortunately I don't know how to convert a .sfs to .pet.

Thanks for the reply.

K3B .pet for Lucid 5.28?

I have searched google in vain for a .pet file for K3B. I have found an .sfs file, and some links that say they point to a .pet file, but all of those links seem broken.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hm... Again, I'd accomodate you, but we have a couple of serious problems... I don't have a Lucid Pup on this computer to compile jpilot on with an original Glbc "less-than-2.15", plus... I don't have a source file of jpilot to compile... Not funny. :( Long story short: if we don't have a...

It's only jPilot version 0.99, though.
When I try to run it after installation I get this error message:

jpilot: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found (required by jpilot)

Hi, Paul. I see. So it's a transversal thing, eh? All your machines use jPilot. Have you got the URL for the 4.31 pet? Not promising anything, but I'll see what I can do. Maybe it's just a missing library. Also, there's this page with all manner of pre-compiled packages for jPilot: http://pkgs.org/...

Hi, Paul. Judging from the screen shots at the Jpilot site, your Jpilot looks a lot like osmo. Have you tried osmo? (osmo is included by default on every Puppy.) BFN. musher0 Thanks for the reply. I use jpilot on a number of computers and operating systems including some palm devices, so really nee...

Jpilot Lucid 5.28

Has anyone compiled Jpilot to work with Lucid 5.28. The available pets work with puppy 4.31 but not 5.28. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Non-PAE MacPup 529

Like some others on here I have a laptop that needed a non-PAE version of MacPup. So I have created two non-PAE versions of MacPup 529 based on different kernels. The first is based on kernel 3.2.32 which is the same kernel used in retroPrecise Puppy. You can download the iso from here: https://www...

yes, Solaar can "unpair" a receiver/keyboard, but the "automatic" pairing does not work, with Puppy or my Fedora machine. The procedure you mention above: 1) Fresh boot into macpup 2) Turn on keyboard switch 3) plug unifying receiver into usb port and try using the touchpad porti...

So do you have two receivers and two keyboards? And does one rcvr/kbd combo work on puppy but the other doesn't? Is that the situation? Yes, I have two receivers and two keyboards. Once paired, both sets work with Puppy. The issue is trying to find a way of pairing a previously unpaired set while i...

Sorry for the delay in replying. Life has been pretty hectic lately. The keyboard and receiver that I was using above are working fine. I paired them on my Fedora machine using Solaar, and they are working fine together. In fact I am using them now on my laptop. This is the dmesg info I get when I p...

Tried that again ...... but the keyboard/trackpad are not functioning with the laptop. Once the keyboard and receiver are paired, I can use them on the laptop just fine Paul - just to confirm - does the tk820 function ok on Macpup after you have done the pairing with Fedora? As far as I can make ou...

Hmmm, what happens with this laptop when you plug in a wired usb mouse or keyboard? Do they work as soon as plugged in? Just wondering if there is something in bios that needs activating to allow certain usb devices to function, or to determine when to allow a usb mouse or kbd to take over from the...

Thanks very much for the reply.
I am using Puppy 4.31, (MacPup Opera) which is the latest version of Puppy which will work on my GoBook III laptop. The other versions you suggest won't work, unfortunately.

Thanks again for the time and attention.
