Someone needs to look into Dialup. It hasn't worked in the last 3 releases. The problem now is it can't find a modem. I've tried it on three different computers with thre diffrent modems (LT, ESSO and LT/Agree. All have worked on earlier versions. Help dialup is my only choice.

I have not been able to get dialup to work in any of the dingos. I have three computers with three different types of modems and none of them works. When you put your phone #, user nameand password in and click on connect the computer freezes. All you can do is power off and back on. The same thing ...

Dialup
When you put your Username, Phone # and password in pupdial and click connect it freezes up. The only way to get out is turn off power and start over. The same thing happens when you click on "Probe" or type Wvdial at a command line.

Zygo,
check /etc/ppp/chap-secrets. It should have ( username * password *) Same for Pap-Serects. I don't know what needs fixing but adding this info will make it connect.

Cups printers
Cups printers work in SeaMonkey but in Abiword and Gnumeric when I click on print I get the pdq print screen that has no printers listed that I set up in Cups. What am I missing.
