Hi FeodorF, I have Intel on this lappy. This laptop (Acer E17) has had problems from the start so it's a matter of dealing with this laptop as well as looking to see if it's the OS. Grrr. I had Writer and Calc open at the same time and had used Calc heavily that day so it could be just temp space or...

Hi All, Just an update for EasyOS2.3 Webcam still not working but a text file I ran across says the webcam is referenced as a virtual keyboard. Now I can't find the text file that says that. Grr. Printing on Brother DCPL2520DW works, although, I can only print a test page wirelessly so far. Libre and Geany only offers "print to file" and does not print to wireless printer. I'm using "ipp everywhere". Had firewall on and off and uninstalled during the testing. Printed test...

I suspect the testers can't wait for the new stuff. I know I'm enjoying getting back into it. Easy.11 is very good. I've got Easy.12 and look forward to a peak. Best, Eric To Add: Just a few minutes later. easydd is brilliant. Thanks for this as it took approx 5 minutes to download Easy.12 and a few...

Barry says: Try it! Heh heh, I am trying to wean you off EasyPup! Ok will do. I like both and EasyOS boots, reboots/shutsdown, and sees my usb stick. I notice the usb stick shows as generic usb in EasyOS at boot. The other shows as "innostore" usb and may be a problem seeing it on boot. Ne...

1. Easypup on usb3 into usb3 socket = no boot (no bootable device found) but shuts down properly. Boots on second attempt using power button twice. One to shutdown and once to powerup. 2. Easypup on usb3 into usb2 socket = boot but hangs on shutdown (requires holding the power button until it shuts ...

This easypup is very good. I plead to Barry to keep this one going. Big ty to Barry! There might be a LOT of users from Lucid 5.28 filtering back I reckon. I have some issues with the firewall being inconsistent with seamonkey and firefox (grc.com testing). Dunno why yet. I find Seamonkey very good....

Ty Barry!

This works well on my problematic Acer.
Acer hangs at shutdown/reboot with all other versions of pup and Easypup is mostly good to go.

I need to learn the container stuff as I've been away for a long time.

This will definitely replace my old Lucid5.28 as a daily OS.

Best,
Eric

To Add,
Russodle,

It's amazing how fast ftp users will find new servers to upload to...I would take a break and save some money. Rest and move on Suzzz

I will take some of your users if they can handle my restrictions.

Hi russoodle, After all this time it's best to let your vps die...rebuild if you want, but I would let it die and let the ftp users find new space "aka" rebuild a server from new files. All those files are now suspect and not to be trusted as far as I'm concerned. All my best Suzz, Ericz

@8-bit, Yup..our Prime Minister would sell out to the US gov in a heartbeat.....grrr We have extradition to the US a a default policy...not good, as some Afgan soldiers/protesters/objectors had to be sent back to the US..without enough questions. It took a bit of news/media to put some light on it. ...
