Is there a program that shows wireless signal strength?
I've just installed lucid on an old pc and the wireless works fine. The only thing is I'd like a widget or program that would show me signal strength etc, anyone suggest one.

3.01 hd install won't use .sfs files
I have just downloaded the open office 3 .sfs. Placed it in /. and opened boot manager config. On pressing the choose button i get a message saying sorry no .sfs files in directory / . I also placed a wine .sfs in here with the same result.
I am using 3.01 on a hard disk install.

How to remove AMSN .pet?
Now microsoft have stopped the old amsn pet from working I would like to remove it. But I've remastered and so it does not appear in package manager. Do I just search for amsn and delete everything I find ?
Has anyone built a new amsn pet yet ? I looked but could not find one.

Pidgin and dependencies SOLVED
Ive just installed pidgin and have the missing dependencies "File /usr/lib/purple-2/tcl.so has these missing library files:
libtk8.4.so"
I know I have libtk8.5.so which I think is a replacement, if it is what do I do to tell pidgin it is there ? (In idiot proof newbie language!)
Thanks
