Man this hit me hard... It wasn't like I was close to nooby but I stalk the forums and see his posts all over the place. Such a positive dude! i got a acer aspire timelinex 1830t laptop a couple weeks ago for the wife for 120 shipped. amazing deal. right now there really isn't anything that special but ya never know what next week brings.

a super cheap way to get this done is getting a zipit z2 and flashing openwrt (specifically node2z) - they have b.a.t.m.a.n. built in for a cheap 20 bucks.

i remember i uninstalled McAfee or Norton (don't remember exactly) and without any sort of warning or indication it encypted all my files.... i had to reinstall Windows.

to clarify - ubuntu 13.04 is quite fleshed out for the nexus 7 at this point and doesn't rely on android but rather ubuntu-arm repos. that said couldn't you build woof? http://imgur.com/a/PRH0j Hmm... but couldn't you get a nexus 7 and build puppy from ubuntu's nexus 7 packages? i mean isn't that teh design of woof?

thanks for the links i'll read through them in a minute... ididn't get a chance to actually try the puppy build.... i made the boot disk but in doing so i first mistakenly made my 500 gb media hard drive a ~4gb puppy boot img. so sort of dealt with that instead this weekend... luckily the tablet cam...
