Looking for a more recent java(solved)
I know I saw on here, I believe it was ttuuxxx had made a pet with the most recent Java but search on puppyforums leaves a lot to be desired. Does anyone know where I can find it? Or if not can someone walk me through a manual install? I'm running the latest 4.2.1 with a full HD install. Thanks!!

Can you switch off the 24 hour time in 4.2? (solved)
It doesn't bother me, but my wife doesn't like 24 hour time on her desktop so if there is a way to fix it I need to find it. I remember this coming up before but can't remember what the solution was. Tried search but it brought up all kinds of topics that had nothing at all to do with it. Thanks fol...

How to download pictures from a FUJI FinePix S1000? (Solved)
My wife has a FUJI camera and I'm having problems locating a pet package that will allow me to get the pics off of it. Does anyone know of a .pet package that I can use?
Puppy 4.2 is about to win her over from the world of windoze, we just need to find the right program for her camera. Thanks.

disappearing skype (solved)
I'm using Puppy 4.2, I installed skype but when I rebooted skype has left the building. I went back to TMP folder where I extracted it too, it was gone, not a trace so I downloaded it again and went through it all again. It still had the cookies, remembered user name and password but I would like to...

I'm not angry or anything just amazed how people think it is ok just because we're Christians to say things that would not be said otherwise. \ Yeah, go tell a militant muslim that Mohamed ate bacon for breakfast, your head would be in a basket so folks wouldn't say something like that to their fac...

Freespire so far is the only thing that will actually work on it although very slow. Puppy starts to load and then I get a /bin/sh: can't access tty; Job control turned off e...
