Resolved the dependency errors by using the puppy package manager to install the libgcrypt and libgpg-error packages from the official puppy 3.x repositories. Now the problem is that pidgin segfaults as soon as I click to the checkbox to enable the OTR plugin. Pidgin 2.4.1 has segfaulted and attempt...

cli uninstallation of video hardware accelleration pets
I have puppy 3.01 running on an ebox 4300, and decided to try and enable video hardware acceleration as detailed here. Configure dhcp client to send hostname to dhcp server
Has anyone figured out how to do this? According to the dhcpd man page, this should be accomplished easily enough by using the -h hostname option.
I am having a hard time however, finding the appropriate setting in any of the relevant *.conf files or scripts

Cool, this post allowed me to find and remove some junk pages that I wasn't able to delete through the web interface.
Btw, here is a patch for didiwiki that adds delete page functionality.

Finally got gizmo running after much fiddling with trying to get the gconf libraries installed. First thing to do is install the puppy software installer (PSI) Then you'll probably need to install the gtklist04MU dotpup so that the puppy software installer stops complaining about it. Then, using the...

Perhaps I should have read the directions first, and installed gconf?
Code: Select all
gizmo: error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
