MU, thanks for the fix mate.... Other curious thought. I have another machine with the same version of Muppy and I tried to manipulate these setting with a simple line deletion. (For example, removing the 'client=/root/.wmapps/volume.app' line) After saving the .icedockrc file, restarting .xinitrc, ...

MU, I have a question for you... What is the location of the config file for icedock? I was fooling around with the other choices of dockapps under Muppy-Icedock and accidentally checked off 'icewmpoweroff'. Now my pup-save file keeps powering off my machine as soon as the icedock launches at bootup...

Harrywill... first off... Brilliant puppy add on!!! I did a quick test regarding Skippy-the PET Builder.... My test consisted of converting a *.pet to a *.tar.gz file then immediately converting the *.tar.gz back to a *.pet file. This test resulted in a successful *.tar.gz file but failed on *.pet c...

Having a separate addon_xxx.sfs file is a great idea to speed old machines with low ram. I have a notebook with 256 MB as well and I'd like to revive it.

MU, when do you think the projected release date for mini_8.3 will be?

Cheers.

MU, I believe this has nothing to do with recent the tray icon edition you provided. As a matter of fact, this was happening before changing the winoptions and Muppy-icedock but I could not distinguish when my windows were maximize or stretched out and thought is was strange that it works on some wi...

MU, thanks for th icedock png icon. Actually, I used a another but will use yours as I like the moving fishes.. Also, I recently discovered what was happening to the icedock pop-up from what I though was an issue... If the current viewing window is maximize, the icedock pop-up does not work. I...

MU, I can confirm you are on-target with this one.... It's exactly as I pictured and works as requested. The taskbar is now clean after loading. However, I did changed the entry line 'IceDock.layer: OnTop' to 'IceDock.layer: Normal' in the /root/.icewm/winoptions file as being "OnTop" of e...

I made a incorrect statement...
Actually, what I wanted to ask was is it possible to have icedock as a 'tray icon' after loading?
The same steps/procedure as if I were to right click icedock on the taskbar and select 'tray icon'.
I apologize on the confusion...

MU, Excellent breakdown on the different versions of Muppy... Great info.. Although what do you consider Muppy 8.2? Is this the standard version? Where can I download the English ver of 'Mini'? I'd like to give it a go on a custom Muppy? Lastly, is it possible to edit 'IceRock' in Muppy 8.2 to autom...

Beem, thank you for the quick reply.

Ok... I missed a step in my request. I did arrive at the link you created however, clicking on the v2 'junior' download link get you ( http://www.hostuju.cz/?404global ) where I do not understand the language and do not know how to proceed.

Thanks again.

Catdude, thanks for the info. I'll read up on the readme file and see if I can manipulate the picture and shift the puppy logo more to the left to make room for the menu text.. By the way, I like the color scheme on your new and improve picture. Can you upload the message.puppy file for that if you ...

Catdude, this works perfectly!!!

Configured on Muppy 8.2 and looks great...

I curious on how to change/edit the picture contents as I have the same issue as you when the Linux title is too long and goes past the right side of the screen.

Thanks for sharing!!!!

I did use it to add normal encryption to my pupsave file, however it failed to mount and indicated some sort of error that it was corrupted. Pizzasgood pointed out encryption does not work on pupppy3.01 as indicated in earlier entries in this post. I did not go beyond that and as for who created/wro...
