very good, only small issues: installing to usb stick ext2 or ext3 there is nosmp in the extlinux.conf file this is not needed anymore. wireless connection is not saved for next boot need to run the wizard each time. installing to usb stick ext3 with save to sdb1 crashes next boot with kernel panic ...

printing tiff in seamonkey

Yes, you are right about printing, I don't print much, but you can print by saving the entire page as "web page complete" and than open the tiff image from the saved directory and print with mtpaint, not so good If you print often.

Same as 408 retro, no problems besides the Abiword spell check.
Pmount is working, so indeed it was the flash drive problem that Barry detected correctly, thanks for that Barry.
Great selection of programs, I think 4.1 is the finest Puppy so far.

my experiance

epia-v motherboard cf card in cf to ide adapter
booted from usb stick, the standard 404
first boot did not detect the cf card pmount not working at all
made a save file to the usb stick
second boot only X on the screen nothing else
403 was much better for me
