Pupdialog and bootmanager. There is still limitation how many sfs items can be in /mnt/home. For me and Beem the limit has been exceeded. New woof versions does not fix it. Barry posted back in his block. The solutions: Edit the bootmanager to offer sfs_load when the limit exceeds or revert back to...

Exprimo 5.X.10 clock wrong timezone ok.
Exprimo 5.X.10 clock wrong timezone ok.
Hmmm, strange.
Never had an issue with the clock after having set the timezone correct.
Followed the same procedure and now my clock is one hour ahead.
Clock as always set to local time.
Looks like I am still in summertime.

Re: Exprimo 5.X.10 CUPS-PDF error
I had the idea to copy the pdf-writer script from 5.X.9 to 5.X.10Béèm wrote:Exprimo 5.X.10 CUPS-PDF error
Trying to print to CUPS-PDF I got an error.
I looked in the defined printers and the same error is displayed there.
Seems something is missing.
Now printing to CUPS-PDF is working.

Exprimo 5.X.10 bootmgr error
Good to know that Barry has recognized and corrected the bootmgr issue.
I must say, I have some 50 sfs files in /mnt/home.
Fortunately SFS load on the fly is handy as well, which is what I used finally.

SFR Each distro comes with it packages compiled for it. So this means that those in slacko and those in lucid aren't necessarily exactly binary the same, but functionally wise they are the same. Each distro has it's repository for it. Those pets can be retrieved through the Puppy Package Manager. If...

kyferez,
I think you do need to do some reading on how puppy works to get the terminology correct.

I did use the Puppy Universal Installer. It popped up a file to use in the grub menu.lst file but that file didn't exist, and when I created it in the boot/grub folder grub didn't recognize it., so I tried using the grub installer from the live cd menu. That's where it kept saying not a valid linux...
