Install the non-free driver. If your in Lupu you want the app "Quick PET". For Wary or Quirky you want the "Video Upgrade Wizard".

Changes will be saved into your pupsave. Not into the SFS.

I call the script that shows mounted drives in GTK File Dialog, by modifying /root/.gtk-bookmarks file "showmounteddrivesingtkfiledialogworkaround". So can we all agree on this or a name then?

nvidia = non-free driver for 3D. No spec documentation.
ATI = non-free driver for 3D but has spec documentation on its web site so FOSS drivers can be written a lot more easily.
