The 2.6.30.5 kernel used in Puppy 4.3 and 4.3.1 was released in August 2009. Looking on kerneltrap.org it looks like 2.6.25 added support for bamboo1 and bamboo fun so I would expect those to work. The linuxwacom project itself has only started adding support for the various bamboo pen and touch ver...

It works for me, very nice. I see that you allow the user complete control over the colours. As you are using gtk anyway, how about an option to just use the gtk theme colours?

Very nice. I'm glad you are developing a better alternative to pnethood I was feeling guilty for not maintaining it. I will give you all the testing and debugging help I can. I don't have a Win2003 box unfortunately. I am sure that you have a good plan for further development but a few things that y...

DELURK I haven't posted here in 6 months though I browse quite often. This community has seen too many long standing, enthusiastic contributors harrassed to the extent that they no longer take part. Sometimes other members of the community stand by and watch this happen choosing not to get involved...

I'm not going to be around for a while, taking a break. If someone wants to fork/extend pnethood and start a new thread. I would love to see it in a few months when I come back, cheerio.

How do I take a backup of the whole partition now when every thing is messed up? dd does not require that the filesystem is mounted, it just makes a byte by byte copy of the partition. You will need to have some storage available that is bigger than the entire partition. man dd TestDisk & Photo...

puppy 4.1.2 already contains a script called ghostview, all this does is call ps2pdf and then pipe the output to edfview

Using rox filer this is hidden, if you click on a ps file you see it in epdfview. From the prompt just type "ghostview myfile.ps"

Sounds like the file system is corrupt. Depending on the value of the data I would strongly consider backing up the partition with dd before trying to do anything else to it. Pudd on the puppy utility menu is a graphical front end to dd. Tread carefully it is easy to make thinks worse. Then consider...

but maybe zigbert could add a option to the preferences like this: Playback Option 1: Keep on playing when GUI is closed Option 2: Stop playing when GUI is closed Someone would need to fix gtkdialog first. gtkdialog with menubar cannot be closed by jwm I couldn't really see where the problem was in...

set a kernel boot parameter to tell it which partition to search on. ie
PDEV1=sda2

I haven't done enough to tie the problem down properly, it may be nothing to do with the WM switch. Tom, you are correct Currently the wallpaper switcher is set to call fixwidgets.
