Thanks theinfamousj,

Fixed it by removing the us.map from /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty

Quick and dirty but works for now. when 2.13 is out I'll do a complete reinstall

If you run the script from the command line it returns command not found If you run - bash tweather then it runs with errors. So it looks like Torsmo runs it as a "sh" and not a "bash" (This is a guess if anybody who knows what there are doing is reading) Will carry on playing DC

You can see how this is created in the error file. This html (added to yahoo address) is the Maidenhead page. So abo...

Hi
I've tried to get both of these scripts working. But can get no values in Torsmo.
Is there a way of testing the script on its own to see if its getting the varaibles from yahoo?

How to install alien programs in Puppy?

Hi All, I’m looking at trying to get Mediamvp running on Puppy. On the web site http://www.mvpmc.org/ they only mention Debian and Mandrake. So to make this a general question. When software is for other distributions or things like rpm format. What will work with puppy? Any lookup tables for when t...

BIOS can't see network hardware on reboot

Hi all, This is not a puppy problem. I'm hoping somebody might shed some light on the why its happening. When I restart/reboot from puppy my network disappears. No hardware found at all? The line in the bios to enable the onboard Ethernet is missing like it was never there. The only way to get it ba...

How to get ESS1869 ISA sound card working?

Can not see pup_201.sfs

Hi All, I'm trying to up grade from 200 to 201. By copying off the ISO to the HD. So rather than burn a CD I thought I'll be smart. On a windows machine I've got Nero Image drive. So I load up the ISO, all the files are there. then look over the network from my laptop running puppy. All the files ar...

rarsa wrote:I missed something.

Aren't you actually describing Puppy?
What I want to do is click a icon in windows, which shuts down windows (then what I would discribe as a warm reboot). Load puppy in a ramdisk
but without having to go through the rebooot with a CD,usb or floppy disk
