as screen was recently mentioned i've compiled screen an tmux in/for saluki.

tmux is compiled statically against libevent.

EDIT: Also compiled dvtm, a tiling windowmanager for cli.

There is something called frozen package on their dl-page that could be a static package.

But they say it's beta and the last official version seems to be from 2008. So in my eyes it's unsupported...

Hi christian,

The strange place for the rc is intended. It's the simplest mechanism to be sure to have an up-to-date menu on every boot. As the parsing is very fast no one will notice the short delay.

I will reintegrate top/bottom. Atm there is 'only' favorites for individual items.
