Subject description: adapt package from one version of Ubuntu to another

Adapt provides a simple, clean method to install and use
packages, services, and binaries from one version of Ubuntu onto
another, without requiring PPAs.
Instead, it uses LXD and Ubuntu system containers.

Adapt is available for 12.04 up to 18.04

To get a copy of Adapt as a deb file to install : http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/bionic/man1/adapt.1.html

It is in repositories as well (Bionic).

Usage :

Comment :
Dog users familiar with APT should not have any problem using Adapt.
