Just wanted to drop in and say "SUMMERTIME GREETINGS" to Fred & everyone.

Hope you all are well, in good health and great spirits.

P.S. Speaking of 'spirits', if any of you have spiritual and/or magical powers, could you direct some rain towards this part of the world? Everyone in the Benelux region is approaching some really bad drought status----second summer this has happened. Of course, human-climate-change deniers are telling us this is all in our heads, so.....(rolls eyes)....... ;-/

Hi Belham!
Nice to see you "back in Town".
Here , near Koblenz, we are are suffering a terrible Drought too....same maybe even much worst as last Year .
The Vegatables in my Garden are in Emergency Mode since i am not connected to a Water Supply .Have to bring Water with some Canister from a distant Well when i do my daily Swimming Tour in a nearby volcanic Lake (Maria Laach ).

http://www.rhein-eifel.tv/badeseen/laacher-see.html

Regarding Raindance......seems the local Shaman is on Vacation or maybe he is looking for political Asylum in Who knows where .
With a little Luck it starts raining in the Evening or Tomorrow .
Wish you some Luck too.

Best Wishes from the EU-Madhouse Central "New Kalifatistan" formerly known as "Germany"

backi back when I was a Beleuchter I was Oberbeleuchter on a Blackmore's Nights (Richie Blackmore formerly guitarist for Deep Purple) music video that was made right around Koblenz....I came down from Hamburg picked up gear in Köln and drove on over....some Burg, night time, concert. nice area....hope your garden gets some rain...my son lives in Hamburg and I ended up in Connecticut. I'll put a good word in for you with some of the local Mohegan's for the next rain dance ceremony....

YASSM Samba share mounter updated here.
Thanks ! Added to repos now.

I had some plans to work on / test things, but I can't now, hot temperature here in holland is killing me  (we're not used to that extreme)
Same probably in other Western Europe countries, all the best guys, don't worry, there must come some rainy days after the sunshine !!

You need to install "makedebpackage" (if not installed yet)
https://fredx181.github.io/StretchDog/i ... 3_i386.deb
Then set the command in custom actions to:

Code: Select all

make-deb-package %f
And check "Directories" in Appearance conditions.

@zagreb999

Then you need to change the permissions inside the package to be build, e.g. from terminal in the DEBIAN folder:

Code: Select all

chmod 0755 postinst
(and better change permissions of other files in the package also if they are 777)

I DID AS YOU WROTE,
BUT NOTHING IS CHANGED-
THE SAME THING.
IN THE "postinst" THERE IS NOT
PERMISSION 777...

PLEASE, CAN YOU YOURSELF
CREATE THIS DEB PACKAGE...

THANK YOU!

THIS DEB PACKAGE
Which deb package you don't say, how can I possibly do it then ?

EDIT: In general, I think you can't expect help if you provide so little information.
And stop writing in UPPERCASE, it comes over as shouting or demanding, you understand what I mean ?
Next time I'll ignore your posts if you haven't changed your attitude.

Hi Zagreb!
Why not download and install makedebpackage ? :
https://fredx181.github.io/StretchDog/i ... 3_i386.deb
You will find it installed in usr/local/apps or usr/local/bin -------
Why does makedebpackage not work ? Permissions???
Can not quite understand what's your Problem -----

@zagreb999
You can also use "redeb" script (it is included), e.g.:
Extract deb:

Code: Select all

redeb /path/to/file.deb
Build deb from folder:

Code: Select all

redeb /path/to/folder-to-build
(but make-deb-package is more advanced)

And again: if you give ZERO information about what you did and the results, we can not help.
I can not look over your shoulder and see what happens on your computer.

EDIT: I tried make-deb-package on MX16-mod and works fine for me.

Fred
