Can I disable bottom of touchpad with flSynclient

I have got an Acer Travelmate B113-m i3 3227u and 4 gb ram at 1.9ghzand installed xenialpup 64. It works well but with one problem. There are no mouse keys only the touchpad which does click at the bottom for the mouse keys but also the bottom of the touchpad will also move the cursor so it is very difficult to click on anything without the cursor moving off.
The question is can I disable movement of cursor in the bottom region of the touchpad and keep it for mouse clicks only.

Fatboy64 does do this but cant find a flSnyclient in it to copy. Mint and ubuntu both also work but no flSynclient.
