Hello, norgo, thank you for this kid3 pet package.

It also works in upupbb with these deps from PPM: libqt5core5a_5.9.5+dfsg, libqt5multimedia5_5.9.5

I am used to working with Easytag, but I am aware of some of its limitations, and will give kid3 a period of use for testing.

bliss,

@ norgo

After a few months of using & getting familiar with kid3 audio tagger, I have come to realize that you are right, it is a superior tagger than easytag.

Only need one tagger, so kid3 it will be...

Thanks again for the pkg and comments.

bliss,

So be it!

I have used Kid3 (as portable App) already when I was a Windows user.
Btw: the portable App of Kid 3 works also under Wine - just to mention.

But by today I'm in doubt it is the right program for me to use, as it seems to work to tag MP3's of songs/cd's of Michael Cretin ääheem Cretu.

thank you @festus for feedback.
you are right, application isn't self-explanatory and need some time for settling in
but the results are really good
in contrast to easytag is embedding of covers no problem any more
