About Cliqz
We are a Munich start-up company whose mission is to strengthen the position of Internet users and to put them in control. Our team of over 100 internet enthusiasts dedicates its efforts to making the web a little bit better for you every day. We believe in an open Internet, the right of privacy and open source. Cliqz GmbH is owned by Mozilla and Hubert Burda Media, a European media company. Cliqz operates independently from other Burda businesses, does not share any data with them and handles Burda-owned websites just as any other websites (e.g. in search ranking and anti-tracking).

The Cliqz browser : Its safety architecture gives you back your anonymity. Its built-in search revolutionizes the way you search the internet and find what you are looking for.
Anti-Tracking
On nearly all websites trackers are recording your activity – even across websites. Anti-tracking protects you from having your search behaviour tracked. With Cliqz, trackers don’t stand a chance. Your private sphere stays indeed private.
Adblocker
Aggressive advertisment on websites can disturb your web experience massively. With the Cliqz browser you can block annoying ads. Then again, you would like to see the ads on selected websites? No problem. You are in control.
Anti-Phishing
Don’t fall victim to fake websites. The Cliqz browser will protect you from such identity theft. When you are directed to a dangerous website, this will be recognized reliably at an early stage. A warning will keep you away from imminent harm.
Encryption
On some websites attackers can spy on or manipulate your network traffic. The HTTPs Everywhere function will automatically choose the encrypted connection.

Firejail is an extremely lightweight Linux namespace based sandbox application, could be used with both GUI and CLI applications with minimal effort.
