Running antivirus can make some sense if you are intending to "protect" Windows users, however, IMO, for a variety of reasons, it is best if Windows users learn to protect themselves.

Most nasties are browser based and will attack Linux users as easily as Windows users. X86 and X64 based code is OS independent.

I refuse to let ANY computer attach to my network unless it has been thoroughly checked first and continuously.
The only ones I have had to refuse access to have been Linux machines that were owned by people who had no idea about security and couldn't care.

Turn off those cookies and javascript - always.
Permit them only when necessary on trusted sites.
There is a functional clamAV download that works in latest 32-bit
puppies (don't know about 64-bit puppies)
