autotrash

#1 Post by labbe5 »

autotrash is in your repositories (Debian 9.x confirmed).

Open ~/.xsessionrc and put autotrash -d 10 &

10 for 10 days before the trash is purged, giving you time to restore some files, if needed.

The number of days can be changed according to your needs.

Have you actually tried using this in a Puppy version?

The trash in Puppy is a Puppy specific program.
It is very much a Puppy designed program and does not work, anyway like trash, that may be in other Linux OS.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
