Any suggestions for a laptop that acts as a android phone i.e. uses the laptop screen for its display, keyboard/touchscreen/voice for control/input, along with bluetooth headphone/mic .... that also multiplexes as a linux cli desktop - so you can ssh into your ssh server and run tmux windows for mutt/mail, irc, mc, cmus etc.

I run a local tmux with backtick set as the Prefix key, so when I ssh into a ssh server and run tmux on that the two don't collide. Having a easy means to voice search google (android phone core) and then cut/paste results from that into a tmux text editor for instance would be useful. Whilst having screen size and keyboard entry that was comfortable (laptop).

Sounds like you may like a Chromebook. The current ones, can run Linux apps, ssh server, tmux, or install any Debian package.(not fully functional yet) And with built in Android with Play store, you can install almost any Android app and most functionality, even making calls. Also, Google assistant support just came out for easy voice search.

Thanks for providing a avenue to explore further jd7654. Dual booting with Puppy looks ideal ... as per BigPup's guidance here http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=924305&sid=c0a97fb4e69a88669acf5b7431fede0e#924305
