Has anyone tried to run pastie in xenialpup64?

I managed to run and make .sfs files of some slightly problematic python-based apps (gramps, photocollage), but can't start one of the recommended lightweight clipboard managers pastie

Every attempt ends with various no module named...
In other puppies it's not doing well either.
It's not in PPM and dependencies are not appearent. It seems to aquire python2.6 (xenialpup has 2.7).
Any ideas?
